I've taken a small break to recover from a right shoulder injury, and its taken now, a year to finally decide how best to fix it. I plan do do a tiny run of gigs until the surgery, and then take another (longer break)

About a year ago I posted this clip as a tease...
It was a offline AI server going completely rogue, and then, when we were trying to shut it down, it wrote itself code to try to keep itself active!

Its rendered nearly 3 continuous minutes of this before we pulled the plug to reset it manually.

After retrieving the video, it literally killed itself with continual rendering to a disk that was faulty, and it continually tried to rewrite itself to keep itself going!

We weren't the first to witness this in the AI world, but it was definitely surreal. Thinking weird "terminator" vibes! 😝🤪😜

After that experience, we do things differently at ulx hq now! But, there's still this video that has some great portions but some really crap portions too. Actually mostly really crap..except this section that really stood out.

Remember, this was a year ago now. We've come a long way in a year with transformative AI .

Should I start again from scratch or see if I can mount the base content into the new AI farm and see how it reinterprets it?

Either way, it takes the same time, and we could just get crap from inputting it and waste time and have to double the time spent on this video by having to start from scratch again after trying to input the old data...

Thoughts appreciated.

That's thanks to YOU. Real people who support homegrown music that makes you wanna wiggle your butt!
Just do me a favour when you listen.
Dance like no-ones watching.
Who gives a flying f$%k if you can't dance, or dance like a chicken with something up your butt, I guarantee you that the feeling of a little "shake about" makes you feel soooo good about your day, that you power through it and then have time to positively reflect on how much you got done in your day without procrastinating.
And yes, I do play my own tracks at home, a lot, and I dont get sick of them, which is important as I probably have played every track of mine at least a thousand times before it's released!

Have a great day everyone. Im indebted to all of you for your support without the marketing fluff. Im seriously floored at the level of support on a shoestring budget, without having to pay off "gatekeepers" for fake marketing. Its reaffirmed my faith that people have more power than the politics of so called "associations" who are meant to recognise homegrown content, yet persist on pushing 95 percent foreign content instead.

As for touring. Thanks for the offers coming out of the US. Im trying to see if I can do these..its a bit challenging as I have to juggle them in between medical procedures that are ongoing through this year, as well as some construction work that is ongoing into September. I am free to do more things back in Australia though! Happy to come and support Aussie DJs who are playing my content!
